MIDDLE SCHOOL ART SHOW
Everett Public Schools and the Everett Public Schools Foundation are pleased to announce the 14th Annual Art Shows. The Middle School Art Show is open for public viewing April 24th through May 17th from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Educational Service Center at 4730 Colby Avenue in Everett.
JUNE JAMBOREE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
June Jamboree planning is underway and we need a lot volunteers to make this end of the year event a HUGE success! We are looking for 45-55 volunteers to help with a variety of activities and games on Friday, June 22nd from 10:45 to 2:15. The 8th Grade Celebration committee is looking for a variety of donations to serve as raffle items for the 8th grade students at the 8th Grade Celebration Dance. The committee will be asking a variety of local stores and businesses for donations but need your help to ensure that there are many raffle items available. LEARN TO SPEAK SPANISH AT GATEWAY
Foreign Language for Youth is offering Spanish classes to students in grades 6-8 before school two days a week beginning October 2012 and ending in spring 2013 at Gateway. Tuition is $294 (only $7.35 for a each 40 minute lesson). They also offer French, Japanese, Mandarin, Arabic and German. You can indicate your language preference and schedule of choice and they will try to get a class close to you. Classes are being planned now and students can get a $25 discount if they pre-register before June 30th.
